Pay per view is not just good value
Pay per view is not just good value, it’s a great way to get together with friends and family and enjoy something we all love – a great movie. We can see the most recent releases without the hassle of waiting in lines, fighting crowds, crying babies, expensive tickets. A night out at the movies for my family of four takes $50 out of our wallet just to get through the door. And after the popcorn, three kinds of candy, sodas, a couple turns on the video game – forget it. It’s easily $100 venture just to spend a couple of hours in the dark in uncomfortable chairs where we’re not allowed to talk to each other.
At home, we can order the great value of pay per view for less than $5. Microwave some popcorn and spread out with the big floor pillows, lay on the couch, and laugh and talk all we want without worrying about disturbing anyone else – or being disturbed by them.
Plus, if we love the pay per view movie we rented, we can watch it as many times as we like within 24 hours. This is great for my son who likes to see the same thing ten times in a row and learn all the lines of his favorite characters. For us, we can leave the room and we don’t get barraged with requests for a raise in his allowance so that he can afford the $10 ticket ten times over.
The great value of pay per view has not only saved our wallet, but it’s saved our family life and given us a comfortable, inexpensive way to enjoy each other’s company and spend time together every time a new release comes our way.
