Saw II On HBO.

Keep an eye on Home Box Office this week for the fantastic follow up to one of the best horror/thriller films of recent years! Saw II is the slick and clever new sequel to the hugely popular Saw brought to you by director Darren Lynn Bousman.

For those of you who loved the first Saw film as much as I did then I can honestly say that you will not be disappointed with what its sequel Saw II delivers. The psychotic killer Jigsaw is back to his old tricks trying to play god with the lives of a group of young people, this time locking them in a derelict house and sealing all the exits, forcing them to complete a series of gruesome and deadly challenges in order to yet again test their will to live.

As the film progresses we see more and more elaborate death and torture scenes than the ones seen in the original Saw film, proving that this film wasn’t just a one off and giving us hope that there may even be more Saw films on the way in future years!

Saw II has a fantastic cast, all of whom deliver near perfect performances in their individual roles. The one that particularly stood out for me though was obviously Tobin Bell in his reprisal of Jigsaw; there is something very eerie and disturbing about this character and the choice of casting was absolutely perfect.

With plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing throughout the entirety of this movie Saw II will make a dramatic impact on viewers for years to come, without risking spoiling it for any of you, I’ll just say that the twist at the end is both unexpected and clever… well worth the build up!

You can catch Saw II but tuning into satellite and checking out Home Box office this week from 6am onwards.
